Tulip - newspaper holder


A wall-mounted newspaper and magazine holder carved from a single piece of ash wood. The lamellas that occur have been gathered and fitted in a split.

The three longitudinal cuts appear raw and unfinished; this along with the natural tension of the wood helps keep the newspapers in place. The outer surface is smooth and waxed. The wall-mounting device is concealed on the back.
